| Josh must hate me, I haven't updated this thing in so long......I think I'm just going to wait until school starts a bit to enter a real entry....it'll probably be about how summer was disappointing, ....ah well, check back then people...enjoy the last few days of freedom that you have.

| (Added July 8th) < Hell yeah bitch!
Alright look kids....I know there's a lot of bands out there....a lot of good ones....but I'm listening to the National right now, and I really can imagine any band better than this one. I'm serious I still haven't gotten over them and it's been months since I first heard'em - this is love.
So it's July. We're into the second month of summer already, and I'm sad to see it going by so quickly. I was thinking yesterday at work....it's nice going to school four days a week and not actually having to go to a class. I mean, work isn't an amazing experience day after day....but it certainly beats class. And now that's its July, I actually have to start focusing....I have summer reading to do, preparations for AP Spanish, and stupid camping trip to take with the school leadership team. Bah humbug. I've gotten all my SAT and ACT scores back and have started visiting colleges....I'll need to get a start on the actual applications soon too....talk about stressful. I can't believe I'm going to be a senior next year - it seems just yesterday I was a little 8th grader listening to Coach Murphey visiting our class and talking to us about St.X....and now I only have one year left. Geez.
But! let's not get ahead of ourselves........next week is work crew week, which I'm looking forward too....the Fourth of July just passed, which was a lot of fun, as most days spent with Ms. Emalene are.....I just learned that some distant relatives from Germany are coming to visit....two girls around the age of 18 or 19....it's their first trip to America.....oh! and I've officially been driving for a year now (July 7th was the anniversary)...no accidents no tickets (though I'll admit there have been some close calls). Aaaaaaand what else. Hm. Nothing else. That's all I got for tonight.....I'm going to bed, I'll see you all in the morning.

Oh! I almost forgot! I watched Office Space for the first time a bit ago and heard one of the best songs ever, "Damn it feels good to be a Gangsta" by the Geto Boys....and after a long and hard search, I found it and it's now on my ipod....this is high quality stuff kids. | | |
| I haven't been here in foreeever.
Well I'm working four days a week at school....I'm not going to lie being a custodial engineer* isn't the most thrilling job, but I'm handling it alright....working with Nic and Tyler makes it easier. Junebug and Vodka Bob are ridiculous every single day though. But the moral here is that I'm making money, which means I'm happy. Let's see what else.....oh Slurpie's! Well, they don't have real names....they signs just say "Fountain or Frozen"..... but anyway they're slushies from Speedway - 44 oz. of sugar for only 79 cents! It's amazing! They taste sooo goooood - I'm hooked I'm not going to lie. If you haven't had one yet, you have to go out and get one right away, you won't be disappointed. If you are....well then you're not someone I want to hang out with.
In other news, Josh and Teej and I went to see Two Years Notice play at the Underground........I don't care if that place has some weeeeird people there, I'm a biiiig fan of free pool and ping-pong. Actually, speaking of ping-pong, I won a crushing defeat against Josh in ping-pong, the first in quite a long time. And even better than the ping-pong as the giant inflatable obstacle course/race they had! You had to dive through holes and struggle through ropes and jump over walls and all sorts of crazy stuff......It was really exhausting but a loooot of fun.
I hate Shaq
Alright, well that's all I got for now kids, stay classy everyone.

| Well it's officially summer for me, I took my last exam on Wednesday and I'm dooone with school. For good. For ever. Or until next year. I got my hours for work this summer too...I thought I'd be working 5 days a week, from like 8 to 4...instead I have all these crazy hours...7:30-3:30 monday-tuesday, NO work wednesday, and then from like 10-6 thursday and friday. Weeeeird. I thought I'd be working five days a week.....I don't know whether to be disappointed or glad. The rest of my Wednesday was incredibly boring, it was a bit depressing...Tyler was on his way to Oklahoma to fight in some crazy paintball d-day war....Nic was busy, I had just hung out with Teej....boooredom. I did end up watching Eternal Sunshine and the Pianist though, both of which were stellar. Eternal Sunshine especially....I reeeally really liked it. Friends of ours came in from Florida to visit, so we paraded around with them today....it was a bit embarassing, there wasn't much to do.....skyline, graeters....then stopped in at the pathetic mall....then rented New World. Soooooo boring. Oh well. Oh I almost forgot - I bought the National cd when we stopped at Shake It today. They're sooo good....it came with a bonus cd with some extra songs and footage stuff...haven't checked the videos out yet...I think I should do that. Alright that's all I got for now, happy summer everyone.....let's not waste it please.
